It would have been confusing to see that ending as a child.  SO very confusing messages about empowerment I would think.

It can be hard to break out of isolation.  Most of my life I have not had many people to relate to, as they could not relate to my experiences, and after a while I get tired of always understanding them, and feeling dismissed.

It's a movie about a meddling mother, but she's also quite caring, and her depdent relationship with her daughter, her daughters friends, and her own inner Loneliness.

Susan plays the mum, Rose Byrne the daughter.
