Offering support

Hello

I'm Banjomum1 [edited by moderator], I'm 49 and live in NSW

I saw a story on TV this morning about Open Arms and the new Shoulder to Shoulder initiative offering support to veterans

It got me thinking 🤔  how can I offer support to veterans?

Can I offer to be someone neutral they can chat to when they need someone to talk to?

I just want to help 😊

Re: Offering support

Hello @Banjomum1- and welcome to the forums!

That's a really lovely offer of support, our veteran space can be found here: https://saneforums.org/t5/Shoulder-to-Shoulder-Veterans/gh-p/VeteransForum

Also just a quick note that we've just made a slight edit to your post to remove your name, as the forums are an anonymous space 🙂
