Lost in the void

Hello,

I am new to all this.

I feel lost in the void of responsibilities, due to my daughter and grandchildren living with my husband and myself. After DFV and drug addiction issues with my daughter. I feel used and taken for granted every single day.

Re: Lost in the void

Sorry to hear that @Nannax2 but sadly it rings true.  Women often bare the brunt of relational irregularities and the mundane day to day.

I hope being on the forum you find various connections, and information and strands of hope.

Tree of life cushions on the couch ... of life ...

Re: Lost in the void

It sounds like a really challenging situation @Nannax2 as I'm sure you want to support your family but it will take time to establish boundaries and work out how to support yourself in all of this. I would encourage you to look at your own supports, such as a psychologist.

The SANE guided service may be able to support you and provide some referrals depending on the situation. It has been temporarily paused but once it is up and running again you can self refer.

Please take care

Re: Lost in the void

Hi @Nannax2

I can hear how tough things are in your life right now. I'm so glad though that I read on the other post that you have the outlet of study. I'm so glad you find it helpful. Do you have some self-care activities you can do to help relax you also? It's so easy to forget to take time out for yourself when you have so much to do for others.

I really hope to see you around on the forums. I love your profile picture, it's so colourful!
