Feeling Let-down.

Feeling Let-down.

I thought I had two really positive & exciting things happening in my life & at the moment they both look like they will not work out. I feel really disappointed.

Hey @Someonetotalkto, thanks for sharing your experiences with the community!

Sounds like you have had some disappointments recently, which I'm sure are hard to deal with. I know when things don't work out for me, it is challenging and leaves me feeling disappointed. What are some things that might have got you through when you have felt like this in the past?

Take care

Re: Feeling Let-down.

Hi RiverSeal

Thanks for replying.

In the past I would have lost sleep, lost my appetite & blamed my past. I would have then had to find my way back through all that before I could start to recover.

Now I just feel really disappointed & I will just need to take things day by day & address issues associated with my disappointment as they arise. I realise that it will take time before I am over it & I need to be kind & understanding to myself during this time.

Thanks so much RiverSeal for your help.

Re: Feeling Let-down.

Wow that sounds like a super healthy attitude @Someonetotalkto I love it! It can be so hard not to blame ourselves or to comb over the past trying to figure out what we could have done differently. Stings when there's reminders too, but yeah like you say, day by day 💜

PS - just a lil tip, if you want other members to be notified that you've responded, you can tag them - use the @ symbol and a drop down will appear, and you can choose their name. If their name isn't there, you can type it out and it should then appear for you to select, then it will show up in blue, like this: @RiverSeal 😊

I felt so much better after I thought through my response to your question & then replied.
