Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Thank you so very much and for replying straight away.

I am an extremely sensitive and emotionally expressive person.

I hate the thought of hurting anyone who has already been through so much in their life no matter the circumstances.

My sister continually fed her twisted side of a story involving me, setting me up at times and then I would notice them both exchange looks, that dreaded eye look.

Enough about me.

I was trying to get onto a chat that is happening.

I need to find out do I use my username on here or another username.

It mentions real life.

This is not real life.

It is getting worse I seem to be speaking a totally different language to  everyone else.

I will ask girasole who invited me.

love always too

your silly bouncing Tigger who loves giving cuddles too so here is one big one for you xxx

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

duh

@Oaktree

I did not see the letters above the reply box because I had not clicked on it.

I am so familiar with these options.

Unbelievable.

Grief is a very punishing emotion.

Thank you so much Eeyore.

@Adge

was correct about Eeyore being the sensible and grounded one.

The last post (found and not previously sent) was thanking you for the first list.

Can we write in colour on here, If I flicked back and saw coloured writing that would catch my attention quickly.

Oh dear never mind.

My husband asked earlier, if I had finished with the computer.

I said no that I will be on here a little while longer.

I told him that I needed to reply to my new friends...........

A kangaroo, a bear, a donkey, a master bat, an apprentice bat, a Robin, a little bee, a tiger, an owl and some others.

He said "who".

"Oh never mind I am having fun".

@Sophia1  let's get back to this. This is the frame of mind I want you to be in. I love our little adventures and want to go on a new one now. Please take me on an adventure...

All my love,

Eeyore

p.s. I hope I am not putting too much pressure on you but I don't want you to be sad.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

I love this Thread @Sophia1 Thanks for inviting me.

Silliness is really good (important), very Rare these days.

I haven't come up with anything to contribute yet.

So far I'm just Reading Along - I'm enjoying what I'm reading!

My childhood abuse + severe neglect - Is the main reason why I live on the entire other side of the country.

Me in WA, most of them in NSW about 3000Km away.

I do try to maintain some connections with relatives - Yet, that has always been difficult & painful.

So yes, I can very much relate to you @Oaktree & definitely to you @Sophia1

Your Merry Troupe is certainly not boring @Sophia1 @Oaktree

I love Adventures, yet have really had any in Real Life (not pleasant ones) - So perhaps I shall invent some....

Edit: I have improved this message by including a clickable link

(Methods for Preparing Written Material)

that will take you to the post, to which I refer below, in a new Tab of your browser.

@Oaktree

Hello Meggle and others here

The link in this message takes you to a post that I had prepared in March. I hope it may be useful for some people who might wish to write longer or more detailed posts and use a few more options, in addition to those provided by the “Reply to Message” box of the forum website. One of the main advantages of using the method that I describe is to avoid the

dreaded “Authentication mismatch.........” demon.

that sometimes jumps in when writing a longish post. If this happens while you are posting an original message in the “Reply to Message” box, you are likely to lose all the material that you have typed, unless you have a back-up copy using a method such as the one that I describe.

The

"Authentication mismatch........"

issue is not peculiar to this website, but is a “timeout” function on other forum websites as well. Using this method also means that you are free to “Copy and Paste” into the message that you are preparing, from anywhere in the forum or any other website.

You can find the post on:

Methods for Preparing Written Material of the 23 March '21

Hope that this may be of interest and assistance

With Best Wishes

HenryX

P.S.: I also have problems finding my way around the functions on the site. The reason that I post "How to articles" and added information to posts is to learn as much as I can and pass on the information. By doing this I am endeavouring to develop my knowledge of the site in it's present format in ways that allow me to pass on the information to other members and assist us all in making the best use of this forum site.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello dear Friends of the Forest,

Thank you to @Oaktree  for sorting us out and keeping us straight and providing the list of names. 🙂

Kanga bustles around and looks out more blankets so that Eeyore and anyone else who wants to snuggle can have comfort. She brings out some apple and cinnamon muffins for the gang. She discovers a sand pit near the cave, where Tigger and Roo can play. She listens as Horrace whispers that he might be feeling a bit better, and feeds him some more medicine just to be sure.

This gumnut baby is sitting high in the tree and often nods off so misses a lot.

Dear @NatureLover @Sophia1 @HenryX @Adge @Oaktree

I guess a long time ago I made a decision not to involve myself too much with fiction.  So I have to confess I cannot follow all the twists and turns of the characters. Real Life was very complicated for me and it took all my resources to stay the slightest bit functional and sane.  I did study a lot of literature, but only occasionally read it now.

I do have my own imagination and quirky playful sides.

I love the tender, fun and caring ambience of this thread.

Cooooeee from me!
