I'm going back to work with a psychologist that I used to like.

Not as many choices in the country.  But he was a good psychologist.  So I should be right.

Good for you @utopia .  It is highly unprofessional and most unforgivable for a psych to tell you that you're untreatable!  Clearly this psychologist was not a good fit for you, and you have done well by dumping her and switching to one who is more helpful.  Yes I know what you mean about having limited choices in country areas, of which I am also in. But there again, there are still some very good MH professionals around, if you're lucky enough to find them. I hope you can get in soon to see the new psychologist whom you used to like before.  Wishing you all the best.

You are worth looking after and perservering for quality health care.

Also want to thank you as some of our early convos regarding indigenous issues really helped me, and enabled me to feel good enough and relevant to visit a mob ON COUNTRY out west fighting for sacred and trees.  Thanks for being you. It was just this weekend past. I now have a good memory and more connections because of it.

@Appleblossom - I am following that story about the trees out west.  Good on you for participating to protect them.  Breaks my heart they want to bulldoze them,  when there are other,  better options available.
