It's great that you worked out the source of your tummy pain @Dimity
And you got through a difficult meeting
Don't push yourself too hard though if you are not well
I think everyone has problems with NBN. My internet was better before I got NBN here!
Thanks @Dimity I'll be on here on Friday evening probably to distract myself at least.

Well done on facing your difficult meeting @Dimity .
And has your tummy trouble eased?
I'm meeting my stepmother for lunch today. Thankfully my father won't be with her.
I think it'll just be chores plus watering for me today, seeing I'm going out. Plus maybe raking today or tomorrow.
I'm really enjoying the sunshine, are you?
Good luck today!

Hi @Dimity , how did you go with the NBN provider?
Rain all day today. Much needed but still gloomy.
I'm home all day so there's no excuse for not tidying. But I'll start with laundry and chores.
Tomorrow we have another neighbours' pot luck lunch on the lawn. It will be cold. I'm going to try to cook something for this one. And also to rake the lawn beforehand.
Good luck today with your tasks...

Hello @NatureLover . Sorry I hadn't replied to your previous message. I've been pretty scattered. I still haven't contacted my ISP.
Hope it's not cold and wet for your outdoor get-together.
I need to do laundry and chores too, I'm way behind.
I feel emotionally bruised and battered by recent family interactions and revisiting old traumas. People don't intend to inflict pain, they're just surviving in their own ways. I try to honour that but it's taking a real mental and financial toll.
Thanks for your ongoing support. Hopefully we'll both do what we need to on the domestic front to feel at home and safe and well cared for, through our own efforts.

Sorry you're feeling so bruised and battered, @Dimity . It strikes me that you're very patient with your family. But no wonder it takes a toll 😥
Have you had any thoughts about a daily routine?
The outdoor neighbours' lunch today is cancelled, which I don't mind as it's too cold to sit outside for 2 hours. But I still need to do the raking anyway.
I actually did an hour's decluttering yesterday after my chores! I tidied away some of the large kitchen bench stuff - it all needed disinfecting so was a slow business. I also caught upon laundry.
Did you miss your walk yesterday due to the rain?
I hope you can feel a bit stronger today. Good luck to us both with the house stuff. At least it rained yesterday so we don't need to water!
yesterday
Hello @NatureLover . I did a bit of decluttering yesterday too.
Hope you're keeping warm
I'd drawn up a schedule a week or two ago but haven't implemented it. I won't make excuses, as I don't know why I've not been able to. I've been neglecting chores quite often too. I thought I'd caught up yesterday but realise it's not really good enough for the NBN technician coming tomorrow. And I'll have to be up several hours earlier than I've been managing lately. But I guess it's an achievement to have contacted the ISP...
I'm still trying to walk every day. It's often been my main achievement for the day. But I often go at twilight instead of enjoying the sunny breaks That's something else i "know" I should change but haven't yet.
I'm cold and tired and should have cooked a couple of hours ago. There are so many things I should be doing.
Take care @NatureLover and enjoy your time at home.

Well done for arranging the NBN technician, @Dimity . I hope it goes well and is an easy fix.
Well done also on your decluttering.
I hope your schedule is realistic and doesn't require you to do things that aren't natural to you, like getting up early. (I know you have to get up early today for the technician)
Am finding it hard to keep warm! I hope you can.
I've got no appts on this week, which is great. Just errands today and Friday, my 2 errand days. So I have no excuse not to do chores and tidying. Maybe even some decluttering. (I use "decluttering" to mean tidying stuff that's been sitting there a while)
I've been awake since 4am. Had a coffee in bed at about 5.15 and have been scrolling on Facebook in bed since then. Too cold to get up! But have just put the heater on in preparation for getting up.
I hope your day goes well and you're not too troubled by the state of your house when the NBN guy comes.
4am is very early @NatureLover . I was up at 7.15 and it's been nice to see the morning sunshine. The NBN guy was due anytime from 8. I've got some chores done so the worry is just the long-standing disarray.
I was chuffed that I worked on cleaning and tidying for 4 hours on Sunday. But I didn't do much yesterday. Hopefully I'll start being able to work on the backlog again. I explored a cupboard Sunday.
Hope your errands run smoothly today.

4 hours, @Dimity ! Great work! 👏
How did the NBN guy's visit go?
Guess what - I just spent 1.5 hours slowly cleaning out all my pantry, throwing out expired goods, and making up 3 bags to donate! I just felt like it this morning, and that made it easy. I also emptied and put away all the bags on the kitchen floor. So no more bags on the floor, and everything has a place with more room to spare! The only thing is, my bin and the neighbour's bin are nearly full 😣 Luckily they don't really use their garbage bin.
I am yet to go out on my errands, but I found some things in the bags on the floor that were on my shopping list, so that's good that I found them before I bought more.
Good luck for the rest of your day 🙂

Well done @NatureLover . That's a really good achievement.
The NBN guy says there's a break in the cable in a neighbour's backyard but we have no access, and the neighbour is away for another couple of weeks. The problems of living in a complex of villa units...
Good luck with your errands.
