Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
Did a dry run today to uni campus out of town on my bike. Came home via a scenic route. Always feel relaxed after a long ride.

10 hour road trip today. (7+ hours actual riding time. Feeling tired in a good way and hoping for some restful sleep as a result.

Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
Went for a 2 hour ride this afternoon.
Is nice to see everything green and dams full again. Only did this loop a bit over a month ago and it was all brown and dry.

Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
My first motorcycle (in 1993) - a 1978 model Yamaha XS250 @Determined
It looked a lot like this, but not exactly.
I don't have any actual photos.
Love your scenery photos - yes, wet & green now (not brown & dry).

Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
These were so easy to ride (especially for beginners) - the Suzuki GN250.
I passed my test on one of these - or was it on a Honda CB250?
Then they stopped making them, in about 1993.

Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
My dads last bike was something like that last one @Adge but in orange. Sold early 80s due preassure from family to be more responsible after he had children.
One of my happy childhood memories are riding around our yard sitting on the fuel tank in front of him when he came home from work.
I recon he woild have loved going riding with me if he was still alive 😔 I know mum is enjoying her second childhood 😁
I joke that I was having a mid life crisis when I got my bike, mum recons that hers must be an old age crisis then 🤣 (she is not what I woild call old).

Re: My self care motorcycle and photography adventure
Suzuki actually curently make a retro bike @Adge
I actually thought about gettting one for my first bike as it was similar too the style my dad had. (At least my memory of what he had)
