Re: Knitting
Thanks @Eve7 :). Unfortunately, my project has just reached the point of being annoying to carry around - it has grown to be less-portable. Surely, according to the knitting equation, I should be entitled to new yarn and a new project? 🙂
Yesterday my psychologist had the 👏audacity👏 to point out that even though I was having BIG FEELINGS I was actually objectively doing ok, perhaps with the implication that I should just give myself some credit or something. Like, how dare she? I'm not even sure what to think about that, hahaha.

Re: Knitting
Hi @Gwynn @tyme @Eve7 @ShiningStar @calmsoul and all forumites here. Well done on all of your knitting projects!
My latest knitting projects have been:
- knitting baby beanies for Ambulance Victoria so they can be given to parents when their child is delivered with ambulance help. The pattern I’ve found online is pretty easy and looks nice once completed so I’ve been having fun with my yarn supplies knitting these beanies for a worthwhile cause.
I’ve also been working on a new blanket that involves knitting 30 rows with 30 stitches on 4mm knitting needles which makes up a rectangle shape. I came across this project at a craft group I attended and have decided to keep knitting these rectangles to make up my own blanket which I’ve worked out to be around 180-200 rectangles. It’s a great way of using up small amounts of yarn and they’re really quick to knit - takes me less than an hour per rectangle to do. So far, I’ve completed 63 rectangles since early April with plenty more to come. The logic behind the 30 stitches and 30 rows was from a person who was helping people learn to knit and they discovered that this was an achievable goal and so, the rectangle and blanket idea was formed.
Take care!
