Alrighty, thank you @Oaktree ! I’m very looking forward to continue on with this semester with my current course 🙂 hopefully I can finish/complete this cert 4 course of I.T by the end of this year so that I can quickly move onto do an associate degree of I.T next year! My goal is always to finish and pass all the units within the semester I’m doing.
10 units for a certificate 4 course per semester is a lot.. 😶

I have to say that I am a bit nervous about completing my course because I have some educational trauma. I wasn’t anywhere near as well as I am now then, so I am quietly optimistic. I am also working with a very good psychologist. I know I can do it but I think it’s just a matter of taking it one day at a time. Not looking too far into the future. I have been assured that if it takes longer that, that is ok too. There is a lot of support available to me

@Oaktree it’s great that you’re now open to doing/studying something that you have an interest in and are passionate about, especially the peer work course! I know that even having a lived mental health experience ourselves is what benefits us from this peer work course too, and might inspire others of wanting to do the same (if they want to of course :)) yeah it’s good to take it slow and it’s fine if things turn out to be that way, as long as we keep doing it until we can complete it without giving up. I believe in you.

Thank you @Blackcloud
That is really kind.
Personally, I love to study. I just have not yet completed anything but that doesn’t mean I won’t be successful this time. I am pretty determined

@Oaktree No worries, and I appreciate the compliment. ❤️😊
yeah same here, like I did two other TAFE courses within the same uni I’m currently at. The first one was a diploma of IT networking back in July/August 2021 but I only did that within the first few weeks before I dropped out of it and then the following year I started doing a cert 4 of accounting/bookkeeping for part time. Did that for 1.5 years. Passed all of the units from that certificate except for one. then I came to realise that accounting was not the type of career pathway that I want to head into, so I picked up cert IV of I.T in July last year and so far I’m very much enjoying this course. 🙂 I too am determined to finish this one by this year as I don’t want to keep delaying on doing/starting an undergraduate course, otherwise I’ll fall behind on that. I know it’s never too late on anything, but I like to believe and say/think to myself that I’ll eventually start doing an undergraduate course. 🤞
I’m gonna log off here for tonight. It was nice having a chat with you 🙂 hopefully we can chat again next time!

Welcome to our little study group. I worked in IT for 30 years and did an advanced diploma in networking 15 years ago. So if you have any IT related questions, ask away.
