I had an introductory learning day today about Peer work. I am looking forward to doing some research before Tafe starts on the history of Peer work and also about the CSX movement. There is also a document I want to have a read of. Excited to get going. All steam ahead in 13 days time.

Awesome! @Oaktree  Let us know how it goes. The history shows how far the treatment of MH has come and where it stemmed from.

So I’m not doing a certificate yet but am now participating in the Batyr mental health storytelling workshop for the first time, and completing the pre workshop modules on things like my strengths and why I want to share my story … it’s a good process and reflection to go through, and one that’s quite new to me!

@Oaktree ohh thank you!! I’m not sure if I actually plan on doing cert iv of mental health peer work though 😅 I was initially thinking of wanting to do it next semester (semester 2 2025) in part time mode along with the cert iv of information technology that I’m currently doing full time only for this semester, and then doing it part time the next semester. 🙏
