Re: I’m frustrated

Hello @Wills

Welcome to the forums and thank you so much for your post.

Not being able to obtain a police or working with children's check sounds very overwhelming and I am so sorry to hear this has been a challenging process for you.

Given that we focus on supporting those with complex mental health concerns, we can absolutely help you further by talking through how you're feeling and managing what's going on.

However, we don't always have answers for more logistical questions like this one. That being said, this doesn't mean one of our community members won't have some ideas or reflections for you. So, please watch this space!

In the meantime, would you feel comfortable sharing a bit more about what's going on? Some context may allow us to support you further. ☺️

Talk soon,

AuntGlow.

Re: I’m frustrated

Feeling like I’m starting to wonder what would happen to me if I continued a life without employment from the age of 27 onwards. It’s been years since and I still can’t get anywhere. Feeling like Australia doesn’t care

Re: I’m frustrated

Hi how do you know you are ineligible for a police/children’s check is there criminal history behind it. Or just can’t afford it can you explain either to your job management team regarding this. As understandable a lot more jobs are asking especially for a police check rarely you need a working with children check unless you be in a place were children be.
