Good morning to all who pass by here today.

Hope it's starting gently for all and has good bits in it.

I'll be going out for brunch with a friend in an hour or so.  It's the first time I've done something simple and social like this for several years.  She's my bridge partner and just back from 3 months o/s.  Really looking forward to it.  I feel safe with her and she's interesting and funny company.  My first new friendship since I came here over 2 1/2 years ago.  It does feel like a milestone of sorts.
