Coming to terms with reality

Please ignore if it doesn't make sense based on your experiences... I might be drawing wrong conclusions after all.

I agree money is probably the second most important thing to have.. first being good health... hope you agree to that.

While it's important to have money to be able to support yourself with your material needs in general ... money fails to buy love.. happiness.. and peace...good sleep etc etc. These are the true treasures of life.

Else... the richest people would be the happiest in this world... which is far from reality. Hope you agree to that.

I poured out too many details all at once... the idea is to choose between love and money as the primary basis of your relationships.

Which one do you think can lead to better outcomes?

I surely don't think money can take things till too far... might be useful to attract greedy people if that's what you're looking for...

Ok... I do agree @eudemonism.. money is quite necessary for everything.. maybe even to engage with people.

However.. it's certainly not sufficient.

And what we need to be able to lead a meaningful life is a purpose which gives us a sense of joy... because money.. relationships are all temporary and ever changing.

I would say most of all... engage in something.. creating something out of your life as an individual... that's what can help find an identity and meaning to life.

I think the passions and purpose should be the central aspect of our lives.. be it writing.. sharing some sort of ability/gifts to others...because that is what can also create platform to attract love.. compassion.. money and relationships... everything you'll need.

I see nurturing our talents and passions can be the ultimate fulfillment.

Life exists... that's enough to make it worth living. Dying is an eventual realty for anyone who's born... why not give life your best shot at life...

Let go of whatever happened in the past Eude...just keep the lessons... And start afresh!

those of us who are passionate about helping others especially people we genuinely feel for...where there is an invisible connection....can so easily become so engrossed in our well meaning intentions..

I am so grateful @eudemonism that you speak up and let us know to step back...that takes great strength and courage....

I have to get off of this computer for starters...

need to make a start on cleaning up linen cupboards..

ironing....yuk  ....normally just hang and iron as I need...open inspection on house coming up so need to get under control...

It's bit warmish here than I would ideally like... not unpleasant though

I too like all seasons except the humid days... this place seems to be same all the year... I find it hard to identify/remember seasons here

I'm feeling very lethargic, drowsy and unmotivated and miserable. I put it down to having no coffee, cigarettes and being Injected with the mental health systems poison on Thursday. I'd love to inject the entire treating team with the same stuff for 5 years and sit back and watch their lives fall apart. I have thoughts of violence toward them after getting the injection. Because of the anguish and torment the injection causes me...
