Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Shaz51

How are things going?

Have you decided to go on trip or defer?

Thinking especially of you.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

I guess you are on your trip @Shaz51

Or chilling

I hope you are taking time away with Mr Shaz and he is not too anxious - time together might help him - certainly help you - you work far more than I do

All the best and thinking of you

Hello and hugs @Former-Member , @Owlunar , @Sophie1 , @Former-Member , @outlander , @Ali11 , @Faith-and-Hope

Leaving for Darwin tomorrow

mum is still in hospital but a lot better , my aunty is going to see her everyday

mr shaz is ready to cancel everything , but step D1 rang up xx

what a big week we have had , me lots of tears about leaving mum and also I think I have carers burnout or anxiety xx

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

@Shaz51

You have a heck of a lot happening there with Mr Shaz, Mum and grief with the loss of Uncle.  It is OK to feel sad and to acknowledge your fears about leaving Mum as she becomes increasingly frail.

Perhaps challenging some of the 'what if' thoughts could be of help to you.

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

going to miss eveyone here @Former-Member , going to bed , going to get up early tomorrw , see you next friday xoxo

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

My dear @Shaz51

So pleased your mums health has improved. It must be a big relief. She will be just fine in your absence, and Im sure Auntie will keep you informed.

Yes a huge week for you. And indeed a huge couple of months.

Now its time for you. Go to Darwin and enjoy the experience, and the chance for you and Mr Shaz to spend time with your step D.

I look forward to hearing all about it upon your return.

Sorry Ive not been around. Been in the city re hubbys hospitalisation past two days. Looking like expected 3 nights may become 7, at last estimate. And my Mum has a kidney infection, and if not improved in a couple of days, her GP is threatening hospital.

Hi @Former-Member @Determined @Owlunar @Sophie1 @Faith-and-Hope
