Re: A long rave

Hey there @Angels333 well done on getting the cooking done 🙂 Sounds like you achieved a decent amount. Just checking in as to how those heavier thoughts are going? Glad to hear of your appointment on Wednesday. We're all sitting with you and want you to know you are not alone Heart

Re: A long rave

Hi and good morning @Zoe7  hope you are feeling rested this morning and ready to go back to work.  That you feel like you had a proper break.  I think your last post might have been meant for Angels333.

Good morning to everyone else here today @Bunniekins @Angels333 @Adge @CheerBear @outlander @Shaz51 @Teej @frog @Faith-and-Hope @Exoplanet @Doglover @Gazza75 @MDT @Appleblossom @Owlunar @Former-Member @Sans911 @Snowie @Sophia1 @Queenie @Former-Member @BlueBay and anyone I've missed.

Have another day at home today, which is good - the next 5 days I have stuff on out in the world.  Today I will type up a poem I've reworked that I wrote when Dr G died for sharing at my monthly creative writing workshop on Wednesday morning.  August is grief awareness month and I might present the piece at the live reading on in early August at the local gallery if I get good critiques at the workshop.

And I will spend some time reading NDIS paperwork and trying to understand my new plan better.

And catch up on bills and banking.

Basically I'm under advice from my psychologist to find more things to do off-line, and I agree with it being important for me.

Hoping today unfolds well for you all and that any plans come to fruition and any support needed is received.   Take care xx

Re: A long rave

Hi @eth , thanks for the shout out.

How was your gallery expedition?  Hope you had a wonderful time.  I visited my local show with family earlier in the year and was blown away by the talented artists in my community.  Particularly some of the young people.

'

Hard to believe we're so far through the year already.  Have a wonderful day.

Take care.

Re: A long rave

Good morning @eth thankyou, have a lovely day! 😊

Re: A long rave

Hey @Gazza75   The works were amazing - my sister-in-law and her mentor (now deceased) were 2 of the 4 exhibitors so it was a special show for us here.

I agree about being so far through the year already.  It's like the days go slowly but the weeks fly past.  I wish I was making more progress with my goals.

Hey @Former-Member

Hope you both have good days today too.

Re: A long rave

Dear @eth

All the Best with your Dr G poem. It is probably wiser to build more life in real life if possible.  The forum is always here as a backdrop.

Heart

@Zoe7 Hoping your day with the children is good.

Re: A long rave

Thanks for the support @Former-Member  and @BryanaCamp   @eth @Appleblossom @Bunniekinsthe thoughts are still there but less stressful than yesterday.  The problem is that everyone here,  my family and friends think I'm doing so well after coming out of hospital.    I feel like I have no one to talk to,  I don't want to be a constant downer always with MI problems.   This is making the forum a huge outlet.    I have DBT today and I think I'll tell the group facilitators  exactly how I'm  feeling.    I hope all readers following along have a great day, love you all xxxx

Re: A long rave

Yes you're right @Appleblossom   The last few weeks I've spent more time on the forums than off - need to balance things out.   Hope your volunteer work goes well for you this week and that today is one of the good ones for you.

Re: A long rave

Thanks and you too. @eth

Some pics for the thread.

Re: A long rave

sounds like a great plan to be candid with your DBT staff @Angels333 . That's what they're there for, to support you. Hope it goes well for you, let us know how you go Smiley Happy
